Campus Visits

    Schedule A Visit

By choosing a guided tour of campus or live virtual visit experience from home,
you can get to know Bucknell whenever and however you want.

    On-Campus Visits

The best way to get to know Bucknell is to see it for yourself. Your on-campus visit can include both an admissions information session and a guided tour of campus, or just a campus tour — it's up to you.

Hosted by admissions counselors and current student(s), these on-campus visits start in the Office of Admissions located in Freas Hall (One Dent Drive). Register by selecting an available date from the calendar below. Due to space restraints, available times are only visible after you select a number of guests on the registration page for each event.

    Class Visit

Are you a potential member of our next incoming class? Join a live class and experience academic life at Bucknell. If you have any questions about class visits, please email Register by selecting an available date from the calendar below.
Note: It is important that the time or duration of the class you select fits into the campus visit option(s) you register for, or else we will not be able to accommodate your class selection and we will have to cancel your class visit registration.

Are you a prospective engineer? You can explore the innovative spaces, state-of-the-art equipment and supportive environment that Bucknell engineers simply call home. Offered most Mondays through Fridays at 12:30 p.m. EST and Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. EST. Register by selecting an available date from the calendar below.

    Safety Protocols
Before coming to campus please be sure to check out the latest COVID-19 safety protocols that are currently in place, including face coverings. Additional procedures include the following:
    • Registration: Advance registration is required. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate unregistered guests during information sessions and tours. (For these visitors, we suggest our self-guided audio tour or driving tour.)
    • Location and parking: Once on campus, please park in a visitor-designated parking lot and make your way to the Office of Admissions at Freas Hall (One Dent Drive) or, if visiting from May 23 to August 11, head to the Weis Center for the Performing Arts (525 Weis Drive) (Access a parking map here.).
    • Capacity: Each tour group will be small and socially distanced according to state and federal health guidelines.

    Journey to Bucknell
Our Journey to Bucknell program seeks out the brightest leaders, learners and innovators and invites them to learn more about Bucknell's welcoming, world-class campus. The program is designed to introduce high-achieving, traditionally underrepresented high school seniors to the endless possibilities that await at Bucknell.
There are two ways you can participate:
    • No matter where you live, you can take part in Journey to Bucknell from the comfort of your home through a virtual program Oct. 2–3.
    • Or, if you live in one of a few select locations, you can take advantage of free transportation for you and one parent/guardian to campus for the Oct. and Nov. Open House.
Students who participate in the virtual program and are later admitted to Bucknell will also be invited to campus for a special admitted student event in the spring.

Journey to Bucknell is free for students who are invited to participate.
