Elaborate on why you find it intriguingPresidential Fellows Scholarship Requirements and ApplicationThe Presidential Fellowship Program, the University’s most prestigious academic award, seeks to recognize 30 incoming students who demonstrate exceptional high school performance, intentional and meaningful community and secondary school involvement, and commitment to intellectual growth. Class of 2027’s Presidential Fellows exemplified the following traits: Students were enrolled in the most rigorous curriculum offered at their high school.For schools that rank, the vast majority of students were ranked in the top 5% of their graduating class.The average GPA is 3.97 in the five core academic areas (English, Math, Social Studies, Sciences, Foreign Language) The Presidential Fellowship includes a $30,000 annual merit scholarship renewable over four years, an opportunity to participate in a significant, long-term project or experience with a mentor from the University faculty or staff, and an expectation that you will be part of an active intellectual community with other Fellows during your time at Bucknell. A Presidential Fellow will be required to maintain good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.2. Typically, a Presidential Fellow will commit approximately eight hours per week to their Presidential Fellowship project.
