2025 Journey to Bucknell Student ApplicationLoading...This year, our Journey to Bucknell program will take place from Thursday, October 16, 2025, to Saturday, October 18, 2025. The program will overlap with a Bucknell Open House and consist of the same opportunities. The application for this year's Journey to Bucknell Program will open on Monday, March 31, 2025. To be eligible you must: Be a high school senior who presents a diverse perspective. Be enrolled in an academically rigorous program of study with a minimum unweighted grade point average of 3.5. Must attend a high school located within Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia. Minors need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian/chaperone as their guest. Students 18 years of age or older are encouraged to invite a parent or guardian/chaperone. Chaperones must be 21 years of age or older. Please note, you will be sharing a room with your parent or guardian/chaperone. Overnight accommodations at a nearby hotel are provided for each student and their parent or guardian/chaperone. Bucknell University will cover one hotel room. For those who live greater than three hours from campus, transportation to and from Lewisburg, PA, by train or bus, will be covered.Please note: Bucknell will provide transportation to and from the campus for students arriving/departing from the Harrisburg Amtrak station. For those who choose to drive to campus, Bucknell will not reimburse car or gas expenses. Students who cancel their Bucknell-arranged travel may be responsible for the cost of train/bus fare and/or overnight accommodations.
